Gavin Buckett is a Food Safety Specialist, a multiple award-winning chef, serial entrepreneur, Founder and Managing Director of The Gourmet Guardian Pty Ltd., Managing Director of Prime Skills Pty Ltd. as well as Quality Manager of Carl’s Culinary Cuts.

Gavin is registered with RABQSA (Registrars Accreditation Board Quality Society of Australasia) as a Level 4 High Risk Auditor in the National Food Safety Auditor Scheme. This is the highest level possible for a Food Safety Auditor in Australia

As a qualified, accredited and experienced Food Safety Auditor Gavin is approved to provide food safety auditing services in four states.

Gavin Buckett’s Career Accomplishments:

  • Working in a Hotel’s fine dining restaurant that received three chefs hats and was voted in the top 5 Hotel Restaurants in the world
  • Working as a Sous Chef at Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre serving more than 250,000 a year
  • Working in two International Hotels in Singapore and Malaysia where he gained experience in traditional and modern Chinese, Malaysian, Yum Cha and Singaporean cuisines and kitchens, as well as an understanding of cultural requirements
  • He has tertiary qualifications in Food Technology and Confectionary Manufacturing and a Certified Food Safety Auditor.
  • Previous work experience includes working as the Food Safety Project Officer for Royal Children’s and Royal Women’s Hospitals in Melbourne.
